Camp Golden Gate is growing. To meet the needs of the expanding Camp Golden Gate family we will be bringing the Californian camp experience to the Netherlands. Our camp will take place in the quiet and beautiful camp grounds located in the small village of Heino, with a population of over 7,000. We are only 1 hour and a half from Amsterdam. The camp grounds are made up of 16 acres, the area entails a forest rich environment and includes 2,5 acres of water. Our camp has everything to deliver an unforgettable experience that our campers will keep in their hearts. Some of the amenities at the camp include, but are not limited to: a sports center, a heated outdoor pool, a large camping fire pit, a cinema room, a disco room, a horse trail, a petting zoo, a recreational lake with a beach, an obstacle course, and more. At Camp Golden Gate the Netherlands, our campers will be part of the ultimate camping experience with an educational approach. All the activities, such as the obstacle course, rock climbing, archery and many more will be facilitated and run by professionals.

Students are accommodated in large 2-floor dormitory style cabins in rooms of 6-8. All students stay on the second floor, while the first floor is occupied by shared kitchenette, living room and bathrooms and the teachers’ rooms. The cabin has a capacity of 44 students and 6 staff members.
Individuals will have three full meals per day - breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers a tasty and diverse buffet style menu where one can eat as much as one wants. The restaurant can accommodate approximately 500 seats. The meals offered are to HACCP standards. For vegetarians or those of other dietary restrictions, specific meals can be offered if given advanced notice. If you have any dietary restrictions, please include them with your application. People who require a specific diet due to health reasons can discuss with the restaurant manager how they can fulfill your requirements.
